Virginia Beach, Va. – The new Walmart, located near Virginia Beach Town Center, is scheduled to open this fall.
As construction nears its completion, preparation from new store associates and managers is in full swing. Walmart stores are known for their full assortment of merchandise, and this 150,000-square-foot building will include all of the essentials, from clothing to groceries, officials tell NewsChannel 3.
“We’re bringing convenient shopping and low prices to Virginia Beach, and the wait is almost over,” says store manager Janis Gamester. “We look forward to saving Virginia Beach shoppers money so they can live better.”
The date is not yet set for the grand opening, but progress indicates the wait may almost be over.
