A Chesapeake man won $300,000 after playing the same winning numbers on six different tickets for the Virginia Lottery’s August 24th Cash 5 drawing.
Kelvin Lawrence bought the six tickets after stopping for some food at Royal Farms in New Church on the Eastern Shore.
Those winning numbers were 2-10-27-33-34. He said he often plays those numbers, although they have no special significance.
He won $50,000 from each ticket.
