Virginia Beach, Va. – Fire crews worked to extinguish a structure fire in the 2400 block of Pitchfork Way in the Southgate section of Virginia Beach on Thursday afternoon.
The fire was reported as a possible lightning strike at 3:21 pm and crews arrived to find fire showing from the roof.
All of the home’s occupants had escaped by the time firefighters arrived and no injuries were reported.
