Tractor-trailer accident causes delays on the CBBT

A tractor trailer driving in the Chesapeake tunnel of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel damaged light fixtures Thursday night and caused delays.

Traffic is currently alternating in each direction around the work area as workers clean up the debris.

There was a tractor trailer accident in Chesapeake Tunnel on the CBBT. Debris has been removed. Traffic is being alternated around work area
