Brazilian steakhouse Texas de Brazil will open its newest location in Virginia at MacArthur Center in November.
The restaurant will take the spot formerly occupied by Kincaid’s, which had been in the space since the mall opened in 1999.
The new 7,500 sq. foot restaurant will showcase a private dining area with chef’s table, an open-view grill in the dining area, a feature wine wall and a bar/lounge area. The space will accommodate 200 guests and will also offer an outdoor patio.
The steakhouse’s menu boasts 16 cuts of beef, lamb, pork, chicken and sausage, which are prepared in the traditional Brazilian method – over an open flame – and carved tableside by the restaurant’s gauchos. The concept comes to life through the illustrious red and green cards, which guests use to indicate when they’d like to sample more cuts of meat, or when they need to take a break. In addition, diners can also help themselves to the fresh gourmet salad area, which features more than 50 delicious items, such as imported cheeses, charcuterie, Brazilian black beans, roasted vegetables and the ever-tempting lobster bisque.
Salim Asrawi, Chief Operating Officer of Texas de Brazil stated, “Residents in and near Fairfax and Richmond already enjoy the welcoming atmosphere accompanied by our unique menu and we can’t wait to bring the concept to Norfolk.”
