Norfolk, Va. – Police are now investigating after they say a man was stabbed over the weekend.
On September 6, 2014 around 2:30 p.m., police received a call regarding a stabbing in the 100 Block of First View Street.
Norfolk Police and Fire Rescue crews responded and discovered a man suffering from a non-life threatening stab wound. He was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment.
The victim told police he was stabbed by an unknown black male. No further description was given to police. Norfolk Police Detectives are actively investigating this incident, officials tell NewsChannel 3.
