Virginia Beach, Va. – Police have identified the motorcyclist who was killed in a crash in Virginia Beach.
The victim has been identified as 58-year-old John Michael Gibson of Virginia Beach.
The other driver has been identified as 18-year-old Shane Michael Ambrose of Virginia Beach. Ambrose was issued a summons for Failure to Yield when making a left turn, police say.
It happened Sunday night around 9:06 p.m. Virginia Beach Emergency Communications received a call for an accident in the 400 block of South Rosemont Road.
Emergency crews were unable to resuscitate the motorcycle driver. He died at the scene of the accident.
Speed and alcohol are not considered factors in this accident.
