Newport News, Va. – Police are now investigating after a man was shot at an apartment complex in Newport News.
Calls came in about the shooting at 6:19 p.m.
This happened in the 13200 block of Chester Road in Newport News.
When police arrived on the scene, they found a 34-year-old man who had collapsed in the parking lot.
The victim had been shot and was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
There is no description of the suspect right now.
Police say a few vehicles were involved.
They believe one of the vehicles was a gold Cadillac or a gold Town Car. The other may be a Dodge Stratus.
This case is still under investigation.
