Paraglider dies after hitting power line in Chesapeake

Chesapeake, Va. - A man has died after a paragliding accident on Tuesday.

This happened at 700 Beaver Dam Road.

The Chesapeake Fire Department says calls came in about an aircraft accident at around 6 p.m.  They say a ScoutEndero paraglider was flying in the air when the pilot came in low and hit a power line.

He has been identified as 27-year-old Jeff Toll of the 1100 block of Veranda Way. He died at the hospital.

Family members have been notified.

No other details have been released.
