Portsmouth Police looking to identity suspects in string of Cradock burglaries

Portsmouth Police are looking to identify several unknown suspects who they believe are responsible for several burglaries that occurred between September 6th and September 11th in the Cradock area of the city.

On Saturday, September 6, 2014 the KFC/Taco Bell, located in the 5000 block of George Washington Highway, was burglarized between the hours of 1:45 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.  The suspects broke the drive-thru window and removed the cash register.

On Monday, September 8, 2014 the Burger King, located in the 4100 block of George Washington Highway, was burglarized between the hours of 12:45 a.m. and 5:30 a.m.  The unknown suspects broke the drive-thru wiandow and removed the cash register.

On Thursday, September 11, 2014 the Popeye’s Chicken restaurant, located in the 3700 block of George Washington Highway, was burglarized between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m.  During this incident, the unknown suspect again broke the drive-thru window and removed the cash register.  However, in this incident the suspect also entered the business, let another suspect inside and eventually left the business through the rear door after an unsuccessful attempt of removing the office safe.

Police have provided surveillance images from the Popeye’s Chicken burglary in hopes that the suspects can be identified.
