Hampton, Va. – A car crashed into the Waffle House in the 1800 block of Mercury Blvd.
The call came in at 9:49 a.m. on Thursday morning.
The nose of the car hit the brick wall of the building, police say, putting a hole in it. City building inspectors responded to the scene.
The business is now closed for inspection. No injuries have been reported.
27-year-old Swedhana Viswanathan of Yorktown woman received a summons for Failure to Maintain Control.
An employee tells NewsChannel 3 the vehicle crashed into the ladies bathroom.
