This morning we proudly honor Major Gary Stanley. He served in the United States Army for 20 years.
He was a helicopter pilot. Major Stanley did two tours of duty in Vietnam in 1968 and 1970, and over the course of his military career earned numerous awards, including a bronze star. He retired in 1986 while stationed at Fort Monroe, then went on to serve 27 years in the private sector before retiring earlier this year. His family says they are so proud of him and his dedication to our country. We thank you for your service.
