Norfolk, Va. – A 36-year-old man was arrested Monday night after a shooting in the 1900 block of Greenleaf Drive.
Norfolk Police say they were called to the scene shortly before 9:00 p.m. in reference to a man who had been shot.
Norfolk Fire-Rescue transported the man to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Chike Butler, 36, was taken into custody at the scene and charged with Malicious Wounding, Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
He is currently being held without bond in the Norfolk City Jail.
