Newport News, Va. – Police have arrested a teen for grand larceny of an animal, according to police. Police are still searching for another suspect wanted for the same crime who remains at large, officials tell NewsChannel 3.

Police say surveillance cameras at the Wawa store located on Warwick Blvd. captured both suspects in plain sight stealing a puppy. The puppy was a husky, police say, and was returned to the owner the next day after being found not too far from the Wawa.

Aaron Scott Dosier, age 19, of the first block of Curtis Tignor Road was arrested at his home at about 7 p.m. on September 29, 2014. He is charged with one count each of grand larceny of an animal and conspiracy to commit a felony, police say.

The second suspect, Thomas Francis Lobianco III, of the 200 block of Saddler Drive in Newport News, remains at large and is wanted for one count each of grand larceny of an animal and conspiracy to commit a felony.

Anyone who may know the whereabouts of Lobianco is asked to call Newport News Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Crime Line callers are reminded that they may remain anonymous, are never required to testify in court and could be eligible for a cash reward.

This case remains under investigation.
