Amber Alert issued for 2-year-old N.C. boy

SAMPSON COUNTY, N.C. — An Amber Alert has been issued for a 2-year-old Sampson County boy, according to WGHP in North Carolina.

The Sampson County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Jeremiah Hughes.

Jeremiah is a 2-year-old white male, approximately 3 feet tall, weighing 60 pounds. He has brown hair, and hazel eyes. Jeremiah was last seen wearing a white long sleeve shirt with brown sleeves and picture of a pirate on front; and blue swimming shorts.

Officials say Jeremiah was taken by 39-year-old Alison Naylor Robinson. Robinson is described as a white female, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 225 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

They were last seen at 8056 U.S. 421 North, in Sampson County and are possibly enroute to 151 Beverly Street in Central South Carolina.

The vehicle is a Brown 2001 Buick Century with SC license tag number KHX-728.
