Police investigate shooting on Goff Street in Norfolk

Norfolk, Va. – Police are now investigating a shooting in Norfolk.

On Sunday, October 5, 2014, around 3:15 a.m., police responded to the 900 block of Goff Street for a gunshot disturbance, but were unable to find any gunshot victims.

Shortly after police arrived on Goff Street, a 26-year-old man arrived at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. His injuries appear at this time to be non-life threatening, police say. There is no suspect information at this time; however, anyone who may have information about this shooting is encouraged to call the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP (1-888-562-5887). Any information that leads to an arrest can earn a reward of up to $1,000.
