UPDATE: Man charged in Norfolk stabbing

UPDATE: A 25-year-old Norfolk man is facing charges in connection to a stabbing that occurred early Friday morning. 

The suspect has been identified as Darryl D. Wilkins of the 2100 block of Camden Avenue in Portsmouth.  He has been charged with burglary and malicious wounding. 

He is now being held in the Norfolk City Jail. 

Norfolk, Va. – Norfolk police are searching for a man who allegedly stabbed another man in the 1700 block of Isaac Street shortly after 8am this morning.

The suspect was last seen running from the area before police arrived.

The victim was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with what appear to be minor injuries, according to police.

Police have not released any suspect information.
