Chesapeake, Va. – One person has been hospitalized after a crash in Chesapeake this morning.
At 8:15 a.m. Police and Fire crews responded to the intersection of Battlefield Blvd. S and Indian Creek Rd. in reference to a two vehicle accident.
A man driving a Chevy Cavalier pulled out in front of a dump truck that was traveling northbound on Battlefield Blvd. The driver of the Cavalier was transported by Nightingale to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with life threatening injuries following the crash, police say.
No other injuries have been reported.
The accident is currently under investigation.
