Norfolk, Va. - Police are now investigating the death of a 1-month-old baby boy in Norfolk.
The call came into police at 5:21 a.m. Thursday morning. Police responded to Arkansas Avenue to investigate.
The foster parents of the child called 911 after they found the baby unresponsive and not breathing.
Officers and paramedics arrived on scene and tried CPR on the child. Paramedics pronounced the child dead on scene.
The child had been brought to the foster parents' home via Child Protective Services earlier this past week, police say.
