Hampton, Va. – A Hampton man has been arrested for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy twice, including once at the Hampton Public Library.

47-year-old James Thomas Curry has been charged with three counts of Indecent Liberties with a Minor, one count of Object Sexual Penetration and three counts of Forcible Sodomy.

The first assault happened on October 11th in the 300 block of South Back River Road. Curry allegedly approached the victim, who was walking in the area and sexually assaulted him.

The victim did not initially report the first assault because he allegedly feared for his safety, but is now cooperating fully with investigators.

The second assault happened on October 15th at the Hampton Public Library in the 4200 block of Victoria Boulevard. Police responded to a complaint there at 3:40pm and learned Curry had again assaulted the victim, this time in a restroom.

Curry remains in custody at the Hampton City Jail.
