Today we proudly honor a mother and son.
We begin with mom -- Staff Sergeant Myra Moore.
She enlisted in the Navy Reserves in 2003 and did 4 years before transferring to Virginia Air National Guard in 2007.
She is a supply technician at Langley Air Force Base and has been in the military over 10 years.
Her son, Vian Irving the second is an Airman Apprentice.
He graduated from bootcamp last month and is now in school at NAS Pensacola.
He is a 2012 graduate of Churchland High School.
We thank them for their service.
