Newport News, Va. – All southbound lanes of Warwick Boulevard, between Woodhaven Drive and Thorncliff Drive, will be temporarily closed from 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 28 through
10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 30, 2014.
Hampton Roads Sanitation District (HRSD) must make emergency repairs to an underground pipe.
Jefferson Avenue will be used as a detour.
Motorists will be directed off Warwick Boulevard (southbound only) at Industrial Park Drive. Caution is urged near Dozier Middle School and across the railroad tracks.
Warwick Boulevard can be re-entered at Denbigh Boulevard.
The repair could take up to 48-hours to complete, officials say.
