Gloucester County, Va. – A man was killed in a motorcycle wreck in Gloucester County Tuesday night.
53-year-old Joseph Robert Woodall of Gloucester was traveling northbound on Route 17 north of State Route 1019 (Meredith Road) when he ran off the roadway and was thrown from the motorcycle.
Woodall was transported from the scene to Walter Reed Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Speed appears to be a factor in the crash and it is unknown at this time if alcohol was a factor, according to Virginia State Police.
