Virginia Beach, Va. - A campaign to raise money got some special attention from the tax collector in Virginia Beach.
The tax man got the short end of the stick, when he found himself on the 'wrong end of the razor'.
But it was all for a good cause.
The United Way held its annual campaign to fund its charity work.
They were looking for a way to provide incentives to the employees at the commissioner's office. The Commissioner of the Revenue, Phil Kellam, stepped up to meet the challenge, head on!
"They raised more than 20 percent of their original goal and I told them if they did, I would get a haircut, a buzz cut."
"I think it's great. I want to give a big shout out to the employees of the commissioner's office and I want to give a great shout out to them."
The Chief Deputy also got a special buzz cut to say congrats to the staff.
