Newport News, Va. – A 40-year-old Newport News man has been charged after police say he sexually abused a 14-year-old child.
The incident was reported to Child Protective Services on September 29th. The girl told authorities that she’d been touched inappropriately by someone she knew.
William Joseph Page was arrested after an investigation.
He has been charged with taking indecent liberties with a child, aggravated sexual battery and object sexual penetration.
Page is now behind bars in the Newport News city jail.
No other details have been released to protect the victim in this case.
