Chesapeake, Va. - A man has been arrested following a police pursuit early Wednesday morning, police tell NewsChannel 3.
At 8:11 a.m., a Chesapeake police officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop at Wilson Road and Landsworth Street. Police say the suspect refused to stop.
The suspect vehicle led police on a pursuit into Norfolk; Norfolk police then became involved in the pursuit.
The suspect rear-ended another occupied vehicle at the intersection of Ballentine Blvd. and E. Princess Anne Road, according to police. At 8:25 a.m., the driver, 37-year-old Dwayne Daniels of the 100 block of E. Indian River Road, was taken into custody and arrested for driving on a revoked operator’s license, speeding, and felony eluding police.
No injuries have been reported.
