It’s time for the annual Mayflower Marathon, presented by Classic Rock 106.9 The Fox (WAFX) and FM99 (WNOR).
The 18th Annual Mayflower Marathon Food Drive begins at 5:30 a.m. on Friday, November 21, and lasts until 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 23.
The ‘round-the-clock food drive takes place simultaneously on both sides of the water. On the southside, the location is Pembroke Mall in Virginia Beach. On the Peninsula, the location is the Peninsula Town Center at Coliseum Central in Hampton.
All food and monetary donations collected in Virginia Beach go to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore. All donations made at the Hampton location benefit the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank.
Rick Rumble, Shelley and the entire FM99 team along with Mike Arlo, Tim Parker and the Fox staff will be broadcasting live from both locations.
