Virginia Beach, Va. -Virginia Beach Police are still investigating a fatal crash that occurred Wednesday night in the 3000 block of New Bridge Road.
Calls came in at 10:01 p.m. about the incident.
Preliminary investigation reveals that a Ford pick-up truck was driving southbound on New Bridge Road when it crossed over the center lane and ran into a ditch on the opposite side of the road.
The driver, identified as 21-year-old William Blake Fentress, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Alcohol appears to be an contributing factor in the crash.
