Norfolk, Va. – Crews are working to remove a crane that derailed from railroad tracks in Norfolk near Colley Avenue on Thursday.
The crane was lifting a section of track when the crane swung around and tipped over, according to Norfolk Southern.
The crane operator was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.
The incident remains under investigation. It is unknown when the crane will be removed from the tracks.
