Gloucester, Va. – Michael Mitchell walked into a convenience store holding a Virginia Lottery Scratcher ticket.

“Is this for real?” he asked, handing the Win it All ticket to the clerk.

The clerk scanned the ticket and exclaimed, “Oh yeah, it’s for real!” Mitchell had just won $200,000.

Mitchell, who’s from Gloucester, bought the winning ticket at the 7-Eleven at 3963 George Washington Highway in Hayes, officials tell NewsChannel 3. He said he played this particular Scratcher because it’s his favorite game.

The optician said he had no immediate plans for his winnings.

Win it All is one of dozens of Scratcher games from the Virginia Lottery. It features prizes ranging from $5 to $200,000. There are still four $200,000 tickets unclaimed.
