Norfolk, Va. – A Norfolk man is in jail on outstanding warrants after he crashed his vehicle and ran from the scene on Sunday morning.
William Plott ran off I-64 east of the Indian River Road exit around 2:30am. Plott struck a pole and his vehicle overturned, according to State Police.
Plott ran from the scene of the crash and was caught nearby.
He was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries and released.
He is now being held at the Norfolk jail on outstanding misdemeanor warrants from New Kent County.
