James City County, Va. - A James City County man was arrested for leaving two children in a car, while police say he was drunk in a nearby apartment.
This happened Sunday afternoon on East Steeplechase Way in Williamsburg.
39-year-old Scott Peabody is a relative of the children.
He told officers they were asleep in a bedroom, but police found the 7-year-old and 10-year-old alone in the car.
The children are now with their mother.
