SALISBURY, N.C. – A man is accused of headbutting a North Carolina deputy after being arrested in an incident that “ruined his life.” That’s according to a report from WGHP via WBTV.
WBTV reported that Jackie Cordale Taylor was arrested early Sunday morning after a Rowan County deputy saw him speeding and crossing lanes.
The suspect was pulled over and failed several roadside sobriety tests, according to the report. He blew a .09 on a breathalyzer test, just above the legal limit of .08.
The suspect was taken to the Salisbury Police Department for an “observation period” and a blood sample, according to WBTV.
It was there that he allegedly “headbutted a deputy and used profanity toward a magistrate.”
