Newport News, Va. – The Newport News Fire Department responded to an industrial accident this morning at 9:40 a.m. in the 600 block
of Denbigh Blvd.
The caller reported a scaffolding collapse.
Crews arrived on scene and said no one was trapped, but injuries were reported.
Three people were transported to local hospitals with non life threatening injuries.
Two workers were injured with possible broken bones, officials say.
One person received scrapes and bruises.
The scene was turned over to local and state police for investigation and cause of accident.
