Chesapeake, Va. – Police need the public’s help with identifying persons of interest in a previous murder investigation.
Three years ago today, Chesapeake Police & Fire units responded to the 2400 block of Bugle Drive in reference to a house fire, police tell NewsChannel 3.
Firefighters then located a deceased body inside of the home.
The body was identified as Brian Riddick. Investigators determined that Riddick was murdered prior to the house being set on fire, police say. During the course of the investigation, persons of interest have been revealed, however, no arrests have been made.
