Norfolk, Va. - Little Connor and Hunter Newton received an early Christmas present on Thursday.

Chief Warrant Officer Kevin Newton just came home after being stationed in Japan for two years.

Today he and his wife Nicole surprised two of their sons at school.

"They're getting bigger every day. You know she sees them every day, and I get to see them only so often...so it's a surprise,” says Officer Newton.

The Newtons have two other sons including a newborn he recently saw for the first time.

"You want to be home, but you understand you have an obligation and commitment to the Navy and I enjoy that. I can't say I have to choose between the two. My wife does really well supporting me that I'm able to fit both in our lives."

Mrs. Newton says this just makes the holidays.

"Even if it was just this, my husband coming home, it'd be perfect,” she says.

Unfortunately Newton is only home for a couple of weeks. He says he begins officer candidate school up in Rhode Island, after the first of the year.
