Virginia Beach, Va. - Virginia Beach residents and business owners are saying they're fed up with the local towing company Aristocrat.
During Saturday's Santa Race at the oceanfront businesses said they gave permission to some drivers to park in the lot after the garage for the runners filled up.
Owner of the Pizza Place, Hassan Ahrouch tells Newschannel Three that despite him telling the driver he gave the car owners permission to park temporarily, he took the cars. He says he saw the driver tow at least 10 cars.
Businesses in the plaza say they did not make any calls to the company and that the drivers are always looking to tow cars. They claim it's to the point that some customers don't even want to park there.
