UPDATE: Elizabeth Pruitt was located in Norfolk on December 29th. She was found by Norfolk Police detectives in good health. She was taken into custody on warrants for failing to appear in York County Circuit Court.
Isle of Wight Co. – The Isle of Wight County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a missing woman who was last seen by family members around November 1st.
Elizabeth Pruitt, 29, was last seen at Bridges Restaurant on the Isle of Wight side of the James River Bridge. She left in a North End Taxi. Since November 1st, she may have been seen in Virginia Beach as well as the Hampton/Newport News area.
She suffers from depression and takes heart medication as well. Police note that she did have medication with her at the time of her disappearance but that the prescription has not been refilled.
Pruitt’s history of depression coupled with other mental health issues makes her susceptible to manipulation by others.
Police are asking Pruitt to check in with local law enforcement.
