An Isle of Wight County Sheriff’s Office deputy suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Monday.
The crash happened just after 9:00 p.m. The deputy crashed his vehicle into a tree at Nike Park Road and Reynolds Drive in Carrollton.
The deputy was transported to the hospital and has since been released.
The accident is being investigated by the Virginia State Police.
