Norfolk, Va.— Two people were stabbed on Christmas morning in the 1500 block of Virgilina Avenue in Norfolk, according to police. Both appear to have non-life threatening injuries.
The call first came in about about 9 on Thursday morning. Police arrived to find a 46-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man suffering from apparent stab wounds. Both were taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, but are expected to be okay.
Police have detained a 50-year old man in connection to the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
