Chesapeake, Va. – A man in Chesapeake told police he was robbed on Monday night after he responded to an ad on Craigslist to buy a cell phone.
Calls came in at around 5 p.m. Police say the incident happened in the 2000 block of Plow Lane. The man told police his money was taken at gunpoint and he is not sure if the robbery was planned or if this was a crime of opportunity.
