A 95-year-old newlywed died just weeks after his 96-year-old wife was taken to Florida.
He died after suffering from influenza.
According to theguardian.com, he was distressed after his wife was taken away.
They’d been companions for 10 years and were finally able to be married this June.
Their marriage was disputed in court because the wife, Edith Hill, had been declared legally incapacitated for years.
One of her daughters argued that the marriage would complicate the distribution of her estate.
A judge appointed a new guardian for Hill and in the process left the marriage in tact.
