Man wanted for Christmas Day arson in Newport News

Newport News, Va. –  Police need your help to solve a case of arson.

On December 25, 2014 at 2:25 a.m., Police Communications received calls of a fire at the DAV Thrift Store, located at 15265 Warwick Blvd.

Police and Fire units responded and the fire was extinguished.

Police need your help to locate the person responsible.

Surveillance video shows an unknown man at the rear of the business setting the fire and leaving the area. The man is described as a male, in his late teens or early twenties, wearing dark clothing and a dark skull cap.

The fire damaged the exterior wall and the property stored inside.
