Norfolk, Va. - A 31-year-old man has been charged with several drug offenses following Friday's drug raid on a home in the 3700 block of East Princess Anne Road.
On Friday, January 9 at 10 a.m., narcotics officers and SWAT officers executed a narcotics search warrant at the home. When officers made entry into the home, police say two pit bulls charged at them, and the officers shot the two dogs.
According to police, a third dog at the residence was taken into the custody of Animal Control.
Four people were inside the home -- three men and one woman, police say.
Two men were detained and transported to the police operations center for questioning. The other man and woman were released at the scene.
Firearms and narcotics were recovered from the home.
Police have charged 31-year-old Jason A. Williams and charged him with two counts of Possession with the Intent to Sell Narcotics and one count of Possession of Narcotics while in the Possession of a Firearm.
The other man that was detained was released without charges.
Williams is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail with no bond.
