Newport News, Va. – A dump truck carrying a load of salt overturned at Ft. Eustis Boulevard and Jefferson Avenue around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The crash was cleared and the intersection was reopened by noon.
The cause of the crash was determined to be the load shifting.
The truck had been contracted by VDOT. The driver was not charged. No one was injured.
