Portsmouth police investigating church fire on Chestnut Street

Portsmouth, Va. - Portsmouth Police responded to a call after 1p.m. today from a church that smelled smoke.

The church is "Fullness of God's Ministry"  is located on the 2200 block of Chestnut Street.

Portsmouth Fire Department arrived to the scene and were able to get the fire under control within 15-20 minutes.

The building has smoke damage but fortunately, no injuries.
