Prince George County, Va. – A Virginia teen is in custody after police say he shot and killed his mother’s boyfriend.
Investigators say it happened in Prince George county yesterday afternoon.
When police got there they found 38-year-old Dustin Wilfong in the driveway suffering from a gunshot wound.
Medics took Wilfong to the hospital where he later died.
Investigators say Wilfong was arguing with his girlfriend prior to the shooting.
The argument turned physical and that is when officers say the woman’s 16 year old son shot Wilfong.
The teenager, whose name has not been released, is also facing a gun charge. He’s currently being held at a juvenile detention center.
