Norfolk, Va. – Norfolk Fire Marshals have made an arrest in a suspicious garage fire that occurred on Friday, January 23rd.
Norfolk Fire-Rescue responded to the detached garage at 9327 Marlow Avenue at approximately 12:40 p.m. Fire units found smoke coming from the garage and were able to quickly extinguish the fire.
The fire was determined to be suspicious and a person of interest was developed.
The investigation continued throughout the evening, resulting in the arrest of 27-year-old Jason Mckenney of Norfolk.
Mckenney has been charged with Burning or destroying any other Building or Structure and Burning building or structure to commit a felony.
