Hampton, Va. – Hampton police are searching for a man who robbed the Shell gas station in the 3300 block of West Mercury Boulevard early Wednesday morning.
The man entered the gas station shortly after midnight and demanded money at gunpoint before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported in the robbery.
The suspect is described as a black male, light-skinned tone, 5’0, 180 pounds, last seen wearing a camouflage coat, a dark green hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, dark shoes, black gloves, and a black full face mask.

Tipsters can also send an anonymous tip via text message to the Crime Line by texting “HAMPTONPDTIPS plus your tip” to 274637 (CRIMES). Crime Line callers remain anonymous and never appear in court.
