UPDATE: The suspect has been identified as Galatians Edmonds, Jr., age 29, with the last known address in the 2900 block of Ambler Avenue in Portsmouth. He is described as a black male, 6'2", 215 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Suffolk, Va. - Suffolk Police are currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred on January 29th at the Walmart located in the 6200 block of College Drive.
At approximately 1:00 a.m. a man entered Walmart asking to look at a game system. He then grabbed the system and tried to run away. When confronted by the clerk, he had a gun. No injuries were reported.
The man has been identified as 29-year-old Galations Edmonds of Portsmouth. He is described as a black male, 6’2”, 215 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
